Legacy of Kain: Defiance is a full version action-adventure game developed by Crystal Dynamics. The game focuses on puzzles and battles and is the fifth and last installment in the LoK series. It offers a third-person view with the ability to shapeshift and use various spells. The game comes with a new exp system, where you can buy skills and upgrades for powers by gaining points through progression. The game is linear, and players have to complete stages and chapters one by one in the given order. The game features playable characters Kain and Raziel, and both possess only Soul Reaver in different iterations. The game's plot revolves around Kain saving Raziel and encountering Moebius the Time Streamer to fix the time paradox in the world of Nosgoth's.
